Process
I collaborated with Jeff Otano, an experienced pickleball player and developer, to refine the app's UX/UI. While Jeff built the core functionality, I focused on:
Creating a cohesive brand identity
Improving UI patterns
Enhancing usability for key features
Establishing a consistent visual language

My Role
I partnered with Jeff to elevate Skiva's visual design and user experience. While Jeff had already built much of the core functionality, I helped refine the UI patterns and create a cohesive brand identity. My work focused on polishing the interface page by page, improving usability for key features like stats tracking and gear management, and establishing a consistent visual language across the app.
Results
Skiva launched successfully in September 2024, marking an exciting entrance into the pickleball app space. The polished interface and intuitive feature set have resonated with early users, generating positive feedback and organic growth within the pickleball community. As the app continues to gain traction, we're identifying opportunities to expand its feature set and reach more players.
